CAUTION: Cancellations of PAL Flights

DoTC has huge jobs

Very last Monday the  DoTC (the  Division of Transportation and Communications ) published their record of precedence jobs. Somehow it seems like a huge bang.

Transportation Secretary Mar Roxas presented these assignments in a briefing Monday:

LRT-1 extension and rehabilitation

LRT-1, the oldest elevated railway in the metropolis, operates a 16-kilometer extend from Monumento to Baclaran, although the enlargement will include an added 12 kilometers to reachCavite. All round, the LRT-1 rehabilitation, which include the acquisition of new fleet, will charge P80 billion, of which the railway development on your own will price tag P45 billion.

Global airport in Puerto Princesa (Palawan)

The DoTC is also rapid-tracking the building of a modern-day intercontinental airport in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, to accommodate an elevated influx of tourists pursuing the inclusion of the Underground River between the world’s “New Seven Wonders of Character.” The PHP 4.46 billion challenge will be funded utilizing bilateral aid from South Korea.

 Laguindingan airport

The development of the Laguindingan Airport in between Cagayan de Oro and Iligan in northern Mindanao is practically completed. Now the DoTC opens the bidding for procedure and servicing with a yearly quantity of USD 34.9 million.

Mactan-Cebu airport

Mactan-Cebu airport is up to get a new terminal for USD 180 million. If this new terminal is actually necessary is a different query.

New Bohol airport

This data is cryptic. Does Roxas present the questionable Panglao International Airport or is the New Bohol airport for USD 158 million an overhaul of Tagbilaran’s existing airport or is it the by some means neglected project of a new airport in the east of Bohol close to Ubay?
