The “Earthquakes” and “Active Volcanoes” webpages are back.
When relocating these webpages from the aged variation of Silent Gardens to the new a person, we encountered some troubles. Adapting the graphics to responsive design hadn’t been that straightforward. But now it’s performed.
Another dilemma had been the knowledge quality from PHIVOLCS. The men and women at PHIVOLCS are exceptionally innovative. Sad to say they are also artists when it arrives to facts in personal computer programs. Relying on the operator they insert areas or use even diverse coding. Our applications can go through the model of operator A, but when op. B is keying the facts, our application goes nuts for the reason that of the new format.
So we experienced to discover our application to distinguish the operators and try to recognize them. We hope, they will not employ operator C…
As soon as PHIVOLCS records and reviews an earthquake in the Philippines, our database is routinely up to date and the earthquake is displayed in our map. Since January 1, 2014 up to this moment we recorded 267 earthquakes. 235 quakes ended up weak (Magnitude much less than 4), 32 quakes were being medium (Magnitude among 4 an 6), and none was potent (Magnitude increased than 6). The earthquake web page is here.
At present we are checking Taal and Mayon volcanoes. The data is updated weekly until eventually there would be an enhance in exercise. Then we would update each day or even more normally. The active volcanoes are right here. All other volcanoes are listed here.
