Indian Restaurant on Boracay Island

Indian Cafe on Boracay Island

My spouse and I really like Indian (and Pakistani) food stuff but as considerably as we understood there were no Indian dining places in Iloilo City in which we reside.  When we were arranging on traveling to Boracay, a close friend of ours advised us to be certain to dine at Crafty’s Rooftop Cafe.  What a good suggestion it was! We did so and had been not unhappy.  Crafty’s has a tandoori oven which manufactured nan (Indian flat bread) as very good as we experienced in Montreal or New York.  Sadly, the oven was not often fired up, so nan was not usually out there.  We attempted the total wheat chappatis as a substitute and they much too had been exceptional.  Actually anything was very good.  We achieved the Pakistani chef, Vincent who gave us some recommendations on purchasing Indian cooking elements in Iloilo and Manila.

Trace: Indian/Pakistani groceries and spices are accessible in Manila at theAssad Ali Minimart, UN Ave, in close proximity to Paco Park. Phone 02-526-1349 or 02-526-5034.  In Iloilo we like the Raja Indian food items store across from the Iloilo’s Sikh Temple.  See our listing for far more details.

To get to Craft’s Rooftop Restaurant from the White Beach path, choose the southerly-most route by way of d’Mall, go all the way via d’Mall until finally you come to the trike-stuffed Key Street.  Craft’s in on the forth and topmost flooring of the Craft’s supermarket setting up which is on the left at the intersection of the  Main Road and the southerly d’Mall trail.
