Laguindingan Airport – lights on!

Laguindingan Airport in Cagayan de Oro had been the subject of lots of jokes considering that it opened its doors on June 15, 2013. But now Laguindingan Airport administration, announced that the inaugural evening-flight would be held either in the very first or next week of November, this year!

The Korean contractor, SKY-KR Consortium, completed the installation of all Air Navigation Method and Assistance Services (ANSSF) forward of the concentrate on completion date of November 20. End of October, CAAP will do exam-flights to modify coordinates, levels and bearings. to comply with the global criteria.

Runway Lights

At present, the Laguindingan Airport has an average of 19 inbound and 19 outbound flights per working day. Running hrs are from dawn to sunset, 06:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. It would seem that airlines would plan early morning and evening flights by December. In spite of the entire name of Laguindingan International Airport, intercontinental flights are not nonetheless planned. The airport management informs that they can even accommodate worldwide flights, but there are nonetheless lots of concern about feasibility.
